Ancillary Systems and Machinery Inspections

The inspection will assess if the engine can deliver sufficient power to run the constant baseline ancillary loads (including all drive losses) and have the capacity to produce the expected boat performance.

A detailed external inspection of Engine Ancillary Systems - Assess (PTO) Power Takes Off's for sufficient support, bearing surface and shaft thickness to drive suitable ancillary systems. Assess AC/DC installations, cooling pumps, fire pumps, bilge pumps, air conditioning systems, heating and ventilation systems, hydraulic pump systems, water-makers and water purification systems etc.

The assessment covers safety systems - Fire detection alarms, Fire safety systems and extinguishers, Fire protection/insulation. Gas detection alarms. Bilge alarms. Flooding and fire pumps. Hull connections and pipework. Black and grey water systems, heads discharge and water contamination. Electrical supply and emergency lights.
