Valuation Inspections

A written valuation following an inspection of the boat. There is usually no requirement to inspect the vessel out of the water. The inspection will ascertain market values and are requested by insurance, purchasers and owners requiring security or wishing to re-value after a re-fit. Valuation balances current market prices, overall condition, build quality, location, equipment levels, engine hours, age and current values of similar vessels. The inspection is based upon observations and opinions and makes no comment on the structural condition of the vessel unless requested with a condition survey.

Inspection content follows that of an insurance survey.

A reduced fee is charged if requested at end of Insurance/Pre-purchase survey.
